BHIWANDI a well known town nearby Mumbai (Bombay), which is also
known as Manchester of India. Main source of income for the people of this
town is powerlooms, where most of the population belongs to weaver community.
To impart the education among poor section of the community, in 1973
an educational organisation named "Bhiwandi Weavers' Education Society"
was established. By the grace of ALLAH organisation has achieved reasonable
amount of success in the last 30 years. In our endeavor and at present it
is managing the following educational institutions :- 1. Sakina Pre - Primary School (K.G. Level) 2. Abdul Shakoor Primary School (I to VII Level) 3. Samadiya High School (V to X Level) 4. Samadiya Junior College (XI & XII Level) 5. Rabia Girls High School (V to X for Girls). 6. Samadiya College of Arts & Commerce(Degree Level) These institutions are situated on a campus admeasuring 16888 sq.mtrs. The total strength at present is about 8000 students. We follow the 10+2+3 pattern of education in India. The society is registered under Societies Registration Act 1960 vide number MAH-342-THANE. The State government has approved all these schools managed by the society. Audited accounts certified by qualified Chartered Accountant are regularly maintained. Donations receivable by the society has exemption u/s 80-G of Income Tax Act of India and has registration for acceptance of foreign contribution in India, bearing Regn. No. 083990080. |
